Dear Families,
I hope you had a wonderful and restful summer! Welcome to the very first school year at Staten Island Rise Academy (P089R)! My name is Christina Diaz, and I am honored to serve as your Parent Coordinator.
As we open our doors for the first time, we are not only launching a school — we are building a community. I want you to know that you are a vital part of that community. Your voice, your presence, and your partnership with us will shape the foundation of everything we do.
My role as Parent Coordinator is to support and strengthen the connection between our families and the school. Whether you have questions, need resources, or simply want to be involved, I’m here to help.
Throughout the year, I will:
- Share important updates and opportunities through family bulletins, flyers, and workshops.
- Organize events and family engagement activities that support both students and caregivers.
- Help you navigate school services, programs, and community supports.
- Be a listening ear and advocate for your concerns and ideas.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out — whether it’s by phone, email, or in person. I’m excited to meet every one of you and to work together to make this school year a successful and meaningful experience for your child.
Together, we are stronger.
With excitement and gratitude,
Christina Diaz
